“Magistrate James Perry has my endorsement for the office of Bay County’s 74th District Court Judge. During my tenure as probate judge, Jim Perry was one of a small group of lawyers willing to accept court appointments to represent indigent parents and children in the juvenile system. He has the requisite experience in both family and district court, which is essential for a combined court system where jurisdiction and assignments overlap. The fact that he has nearly 30 years of combined experience as an advocate, and attorney/referee/magistrate in both Saginaw and Bay Counties, makes him eminently qualified to be our next district court judge.”
